Our Client is looking for a Cloud Engineer to become a part of our family of world-class professionals who work hard to help our customers harness the power of the cloud.
A Cloud Engineer is expected to excel at building business applications for the cloud, as your core responsibilities will be to build exemplary electronic customer service, create distribution channels, online stores, information services and applications for the industrial internet.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Have strong programming skills in one or several of these languages: Python, Java, JS, TS, Go.
- Have strong expertise in building Interfaces (such as REST APIs)
- Have relevant experience in building Backends as Microservices and/or Cloud Native Serverless solutions (with cloud functions)
- Hands-on experience with Databases (SQLs and/or NoSQLs and/or Graph)
- Have profound knowledge of DevOps, and know how to test and automate code using CI/CD pipelines
- Be native to the concepts of containerization and orchestration (will be a plus)
- Have profound experience with one or more of the major cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
An ideal candidate will be a quick learner of new technology, languages and frameworks, who wants to continually keep up to date with modern web technologies. Our Client offers many opportunities to work internationally, so the candidate needs to consider the possibility of travel (interstate and Europe, up to 25% travel).
